The Kingdom of Fife

We are located in the Kingdom of Fife, so called because it was an ancient Pictish kingdom hundreds of years ago. Right on the doorstep of the stunning Fife Coastal Path, which spans 117 miles from the Firth of Forth in the south, to the Firth of Tay in the north. You can take in the breath-taking views by choosing one of the many walks here, with something for all abilities. We are just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful town of St Andrews, known as the home of golf. Here, you can visit the British Golf Museum, play a round on the famous Old Course. Or, explore the Cathedral and Castle ruins, take a stroll along West Sands Beach and enjoy the stunning Botanic Garden. While in Perth, you can also see  historic Scottish tourist attractions the Black Watch Castle and Museum, the Kirk of St John the Baptist and Elcho Castle and many more.

Perthshire highlights include Kinross, Crieff, and moving further north towards Highland Perthshire, there’s Aberfeldy, Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Blair Athol. This is an amazing region with lots to do and see.

Testimonials

Just returned from a fantastic relaxing break at lodge 1 at Elderburn Lodges.
The lodge really is a home from home and the setup of the lodge is great for 2 couples having the lovely spacious shared central areas but the bedrooms are spaced well apart.
The lodge was spotless and well equipped and some of the little extras within the lodge were excellent.
The location is ideal for visiting St Andrews and the lovely Fife coast.
The visitors book within the lodge was full of reviews from returning customers and we would highly recommend these lodges and look forward to our next visit.
