About the walking route
The Fife Coastal Path was opened in 2002 and is a trail running the length of the Fife coastline. Given its length, you can be expected to take a week to complete the full stretch. As well as following sites of historical importance and cultural interest, it showcases the stunning coastal scenery.
The route begins at Kincardine and finishes at Newburgh. To clarify, this is a distance of 117 miles! As a result, this walk is no mean feat if undertaken in full! However, the walk is designed to allow explorers of all abilities to enjoy. With this in mind, there are easier footpaths for more casual outings as well as more technical challenges for the more experienced walker.
